Following our announcement last year of our new 'unplugged' venture, we thought our fan would like to know how we're getting on.
Rehearsals are in full swing and it is hoped that we will be able to debut the new format in April, possibly. We're looking for venues that we can fit into, and can offer the kind of comfortable surroundings that we know our fan appreciates!
The instrumentation will be rather different to normal. Obviously, we'll be playing acoustic guitars (well, electro acoustic) so there'll be no need for a massive PA (well, we will still use a PA) and there'll be no drums (well, there will be electronic percussion) and we'll hardly use bass or keyboards (except for the numbers where we do use them). In other words, it will be just like proper 'unplugged' gigs by proper groups, i.e it'll be a bit quieter.
But we will definitely be doing completely different songs.
